Salsa Verde; Tomatillos, jalapenos, serrano chilis, cilantro, onion, and garlic come together.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb green tomatillos, husked and rinsed
  2. 1/4 cup chopped white onion
  3. 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  4. 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  5. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  6. 1 tsp salt
  7. 1/2 tsp sugar (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill or broiler to high heat.
  2. Place the tomatillos, onion, garlic, and jalapeño pepper on a baking sheet.
  3. Grill or broil the vegetables for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are charred and tender.
